The B1 and B2 levels of the German language
The B1 and B2 levels of the German language belong to the intermediate level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
If you want to lead an independent life in Germany, these levels are crucial — not only for communication with the environment, but also for that wonderful feeling of finally getting the hang of everything.
This level of knowledge allows you to really enjoy the culture around you. For example - you can go to the cinema and smile out of understanding, not politeness.
You will also understand the subtle nuances of German humor, the bad jokes of the boss and all those humorous situations that previously passed "under the radar".
German language course B1 :

At the B1 level, you will discover how to easily follow longer texts and conversations on topics that are close to you - work, family, travel, education. You'll be able to understand the main ideas from articles, ads or announcements, and even engage in some basic discussions.
This level prepares you for relaxed communication in everyday situations. You will be able to talk about your experiences, plans for the future, and even share your opinion - all with arguments and explanations.
You will also master more complex grammatical structures such as subjunctive II (for expressing wishes or some "what if" situations), passive voice, relative clauses and the difference between formal and relaxed expressions. These cakes will help you express yourself more precisely and with style.
German language course B2:

At the B2 level, you enter the zone where you begin to understand more complex texts and situations, even when it comes to abstract or professional topics. Movies, shows and longer discussions? No problem - you will follow them without effort and constantly thinking "What does this mean?".
This level equips you for real, more spontaneous conversations. You will be able to engage in deeper discussions, express your views and defend them with arguments, but also analyze what others are saying.
As for grammar, here you master advanced things like complex passive sentences, indirect speech and more complicated dependent clauses. This gives you the power to write and speak accurately and without error.
And vocabulary? It is the turn of words from academic, professional and abstract topics.
What can you achieve with a B1 and B2 German language certificate?
Professional opportunities
B1 and B2 levels open the door to jobs where intermediate or advanced knowledge of the German language is required. These include positions in administration, tourism, sales, health care and technical sectors. B2 level is often a prerequisite for jobs where communication in German is everyday.
Studies and specializations
For studies in Germany or other German-speaking areas, the B2 level is often the minimum requirement. With this level you can follow lectures, write essays and actively participate in discussions.
Immigration and integration
To apply for residence permits or to acquire citizenship, a B1 or B2 level is often required. These levels show that you have sufficient language skills to integrate into society.
