I can't help but mention this famous German classic. The Black Forest Clinic is a German medical drama that aired in 1985 and is one of the highest grossing television series of all time in Germany. The plot follows the lives of members of the Brinkman family who work in a fictional clinic in the Black Forest. This series also served as an inspiration for the famous American series General Hospital.
