Germany, known for its rich culture and history, is also a hub for sports enthusiasts. Germans have a deep passion for sports, and various activities have gained immense popularity over the years. Anyone who has lived in Germany knows how much Germans are in love with sports, especially football, but other sports should not be neglected. I will introduce you to several of the most popular sports in the German-speaking world.


Football( soccer) is undoubtedly the king of sports in Germany. Football matches are not just games, but a whole event for the whole family and friends. Why is it so popular? One of the reasons is that it has been played for more than a century, the German Football Association was founded in 1900, and Germany also has a strong tradition of success in international football.
